About screw compactors
How does it work
The driving force of a compactor is a screw. A screw is used to transform the power of rotational movement into horizontal propulsion, which provides a pressing power.
Advantages of a screw compactor:
-continuous compacting of materials;
-high density of materials compacted because of high pressure;
-low energy consumption because of high torque;
-extra heat is not required, friction of materials is used instead.
Screw compactors have two main attributes:
1) they compact different types of materials fast and efficiently;
2) they separate liquids from solids, for example, water while plastic is washed.
Usually both this attributes are equally necessary and are used simultaneously.
Individual solutions
All screw compactors have a general block, but we can offer customized solutions, that will meet special demands of any manufacturing process. The heart of the unit is a hydraulically operated automated material-feeding control system, which ensures even compacting of all materials without overloading a compactor.
Minimum work for a machine operator
High capacity of a screw compactor and its size make it possible to locate it directly in a processing line or at the end of a production line for convenient materials feeding into a hopper of a compactor.
The great advantages of screw compactors:
-best solutions for a business, which use innovations offered by our engineers, the developments of our company and its broad experience in this field;
-continuous compacting of materials;
-high density of materials compacted because of high pressure;
-low energy consumption because of high torque;
-extra heat is not required, friction of materials is used instead;
-strong, easy to handle, designed for hard work.
